The NFL: More focused on maximizing profits these days

It is no secret that the NFL creates a ton of revenue, somewhere along the lines of $6 billion in just television advertisement alone. Not to mention all the apparel sales and individual endorsement to go along with that. The league has been labeled “entertainment” in numerous court cases, and I agree with this assessment.

It was a week of conference dominance for the men’s basketball team. They defeated Pitt-Bradford 60-48 on Wednesday Jan. 11. They also took down Franciscan on Saturday Jan. 14, 66-35. The team is currently 7-8 overall with six of their wins coming from their own conference.

Men’s Swimming and Diving posted their first AMCC Conference win over the weekend defeating Penn State Altoona 90-37.
